An excavator is on fire near a residence in the 1000 block of North Westhaven Drive cross of Fox Farm Road near Fox Farm Road, according to a report over the scanner about 8:35 p.m.

“One excavator fully involved,” reported the first firefighter on scene over the scanner about 8:47 p.m. “No extension into the wildland.” He added that there was “exposure.”

UPDATE 8:58 p.m.: The incident commander says that resources not yet at scene can cancel which indicates the fire is being controlled.
